What an amazing little guest house! Very welcoming, food was great and inclusive with options for vegan and gluten free ! lovely clean rooms very spacious , comfortable beds ! Showers were hot! Had a great time lovely family business! Highly recommend staying here and we would love to come back !
Had a pleasant stay at The Chesterfield. Room was clean and cosy and it was very quiet. There was a good selection of hot drinks to have in the room and some biscuits for our arrival. Briefly meet the lovely host Amanda, everything was perfect so we didn't need to disturb her. Self Check in was easy. Would definitely stay again ***** Many Thanks Mike and Kathryn
We had a great stay at the Chesterfield. Amanda and Dan were both very friendly and welcoming, and when they found out we were staying for our wedding, they surprised us with a lovely card in our room. The breakfast was delicious and the room was cosy and clean. We'd definitely stay here again. Thank you Amanda and Dan for making our stay memorable :)
Just returned from a great stay at this excellent place. The room was comfortable, the breakfasts excellent (including very nice alternatives to the traditional full English) and the owners Dan and Amanda extremely friendly and helpful. My friends who had booked a room elsewhere in Torquay were let down by their hosts and Dan could not have been more helpful in finding alternative accommodation for them in nearby establishments, which was hugely appreciated by them. Many thanks!
So pleased from the reviews we chosen the Chesterfield to Stay. Could not find fault,only positivity. Attention to detail was fantastic, even down to use of umbrellas, which we didn't need. The breakfast was 1st class, well cooked and tasty. Would recommend family,friends and you to stay if in Torquay. Close to the sea front and town. Many thanks for your hospitality Amanda.
We booked for a very last minute get away for the weekend. Excellent value for money. Lovely room, big comfy bed, nice shower, lovely coffee facilities! Amanda was very quick at responding to any questions. We used the downstairs lounge but not the honesty bar but it is a great idea. Our little patterdale terrier was also very welcome which is what we were looking for!!! The app is a great idea and gives loads of recommendations and was easy self check in. Would highly recommend!
We loved staying at The Chesterfield, the room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel is an easy 10-15 minutes walk from the promenade. What made our stay really great were the hosts, Dan and Amanda, who were both so lovely, approachable and helpful. If we go back to Torquay, we'd definitely look to stay at the Chesterfield again!
No hassle check in, great location, short walking distance to the beach. Great restaurants nearby . Amanda and Dan are very friendly, just like friends you haven't seen for a while. The hotel is dog friendly, and our Greyhound Angel settled in right away. I would highly recommend a stay here and book directly for the best prices. You won't be disappointed.
